Been playing electric and acoustic guitar since my teens, after storming out of piano lessons around age 12. More recently I’m studying bass guitar as a way to finally study music theory, while still playing guitar. I LOVE the bass. I study with Brian Casey a well-known teacher and player here in Portland, and have also had a lesson with Phil Baker, bassist with Pink Martini. I’m play both instruments in a part-time cover band that plays parties, clubs etc. and look to gig more as a for-hire bass player in time.
